Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome during operating hours. However, booking via WhatsApp or phone call ensures minimal waiting time and guarantees a same-day slot.
Is home sample collection available?
Yes. If you prefer not to visit the clinic, our trained nurse can come to your home or office in Nairobi and surrounding areas (Mon–Fri, 8AM–6PM). All the same tests and accuracy — results delivered securely to your phone. A small additional fee covers the visit. WhatsApp us to arrange a booking.
How long does the test take?
Sample collection takes about 15 minutes. Rapid test results (HIV, Syphilis) are available the same day. PCR results (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Mycoplasma, etc.) are delivered within 48 hours.
What is PCR testing and why is it better?
PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) is the gold standard in STI testing. It detects the actual DNA of the infection, meaning it can identify infections much earlier and more accurately than traditional rapid tests — even when there are no symptoms.
How do your prices compare to other clinics?

How much does an HIV test cost in Kenya?
At CA Medlynks, an HIV ELISA test costs KES 2,200. For a full HIV screening as part of our STI Bronze package (includes HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B), the cost is KES 5,000. Rapid HIV tests with same-day results are also available. All testing is fully confidential.
What is the difference between a rapid HIV test and an ELISA test?
A rapid HIV test gives results in 15-30 minutes using a finger-prick blood sample. An ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) test is more sensitive and uses a venous blood sample — results take 24-48 hours but can detect HIV earlier after exposure. We offer both at CA Medlynks.
